I love the idea of creating a section for the chatbot to put more tentative ideas! I guess it's more or less accurate about its degree of certainty...

I guess there's no straightforward way of making a custom bot out of this? I think the prompt is too long for ChatGPT GPTs, and the performance is not as good. Maybe Poe.com? Oh, I just saw that Marc Watkins made a custom Gem.

I used GPT o3 model to revise the prompt and make it concise enough for a custom GPT. Then I used that new prompt to make this: https://chatgpt.com/g/g-6817ddf960d081918994d78991949465-sift-toolbox-for-fact-checking

Oh wonderful! Thank you so much! I will try this out and probably share in workshops... I'd love to know how the performance compares.

Let me know how it works for you, too. I haven't had time to run many tests yet.

"I just saw that Marc Watkins made a custom Gem" - is it public?

Apparently there's not yet a way to share Gems, sigh.

This is useful! I made a custom Gem, but I don't seem to have a share button for sharing the Gem itself. But here's a link to a result from my Gem: https://g.co/gemini/share/f552e8a6c5dc

This is a great result! Occasionally Gemini produces broken links (not hallucinated, just slightly off) but this is wonderful

And here's a link to another results from this Gem: https://g.co/gemini/share/e0ad34c1237f

Beautiful, this is a perfect example!

I'm turning this one from ChatGPT off, because it's not reading the text in images correctly... not sure why.

And now I think it's because custom GPTs use GPT4o, not a reasoning model. So it's not very capable.
