Curious how you see this dynamic playing out in terms of product / market evolution?
Do vertical solutions (ie applications specializing in serving unknown unknowns) secure a meaningful foothold and carve usage away from incumbent search / answer engines? Or do the platforms get better at classifying or proactively clarifying user intent and steering you to the ‘right’ modules (ie no more omnibox catch-all UX)? Or both?
Either way, I buy the need to get serious about what certain technologies/products are good for and agree this will be a major shaper of the competitive and consumer landscape over the next few years (alongside UX and business model innovation as I mention here: https://rafburde.substack.com/p/the-race-to-conversational-multi)
Very interesting! What's a recent prompt that worked well at getting it to explore a space for you?
This. Some examples would've been nice.
“The opposite of a search engine” is a helpful visual
I agree. And great to see you around!
