Hi Mike,

Thanks for this prompt, but it’s too long to fit into ChatGPT’s project instructions. Do you have a shorter version (8,000 characters or fewer) in the works?

The prompt is only truly useful if it can be used as a project instruction. Otherwise, it doesn’t make sense to enter it manually each time.

Yeah, I only develop for Claude Sonnet currently (which allows extended instructions), and let other people try and fork their versions. Claude serves my needs and I don't get paid for the work, so it's not really a product where I can release across multiple models. When I was using o3 I used the chrome extension web text expander to paste it in easily though, and that may serve your needs.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick response. I completely understand your position. It’s fair that since you’re not being paid to do this work, you’re only doing what you need to for your own use, and leaving it to the market, or user innovators really, to tinker and adapt it for their needs.

So, the best option for me right now is probably to wait for one of those tinkerers to adapt your prompt for ChatGPT. I’ll also take a look at the web extension you mentioned.

I might do it, I just noticed that gpts now support o3, so it might be worth it to get it into a gpt. Let me see what I can do.
